Aviation and Space law

Aviation and Space law in India has undergone a paradigm shift with the introduction of the Atmanirbhar Bharat Policy, which has allowed the foray of the private sector into this cutting edge field to explore opportunities in research, development, manufacturing and core expertise. Under the excellent leadership of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation and the Indian Space Research Organisation, the aerospace sector in India has become an emerging force to reckon with internationally. The changes in the aerospace – defence policies of the States have also aided in the growth of the sector and it has also become a major manufacturing hub.

We at JUSTLAW have a lead practice in the Aerospace sector. We have advised and appeared on behalf of our clients (Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, the Indian Space Research Organisation, among many others,) before specialized Commissions, Tribunals, various High Courts as well as the Supreme Court of India on issues relating to the interpretation of license agreements, concession agreements, technology transfers and have advised on the liability of parties among several other related issues.
